Carol Workman
An Autistic girl navigating the world through her love of animals, places, buildings and art.
Carol Workman has many hats, figuratively and literally. At her heart though she is an artist.
Carol studies architecture at Queens University in Belfast, Northern Ireland where she developed her technical skills in design as well as centring her passion.
Carols art is varied but usually involves a nod to the natural world. Carol was raised in a farming family and surrounded by animals and her first love has always been animals.
Carol was diagnosed with Autism at 24 and she puts some of her variability of design down to her unique view on the world.

All profits go to the care of the animals at The Funny Farm.
The Funny Farm came to life in 2015 when four rescue horses joined the farm family. Scribble Studio was an extension of The Funny Farm. Everything was a method of coping during a period of stress and therapy. In 2016 I received a diagnosis of Autism.
'I was diagnosed with Autism when I was 24 and it was through my art that an assessment was sought. I have always been a scribbler with a love of the world around me, and after school I pursued a degree in Architecture.
I’m a farm girl with a love of animals and the natural world. I have currently quite a menagerie of animals, my art is usually an extension of what is around me and how I’m feeling. I haven’t found my style yet so I lot of my art is quite an experiment.'
